This is a fast and easy eggnog latte recipe to make literally in three minutes anytime in the comfort of your home.
If you are someone like me who orders an eggnog latte once a year, then this recipe is for you! I usually have one from a cafe, either hot or ice, but recently, not many carry the drink on their menu anymore. So, last week when I went to a grocery store and saw a huge section of dedicated eggnog items, I thought, why not make it at home :).
How to make an Iced Eggnog Latte
Here’s what you will need:
Ingredients:
- Eggnog milk
- An espresso shot
- Ice cubes
- Optional: Regular milk or water
Instructions:
- Add a few ice cubes into a glass cup. Pour the eggnog milk over the ice. Then add a shot of espresso to finish the drink. Serve and enjoy!
Note:
- Dilute the eggnog to the right mixture for you by mixing regular milk or water if the taste is strong.
Questions you may have:
Can I use another brand of Eggnog?
Yes, I used this brand because I love that it’s in a glass milk bottle. I’ve seen some videos of people making this drink with any generic brand and the trader joe’s version. I have yet to try that one :P.
Is eggnog latte still available in coffee shops?
It seems like big chain coffee shops have opted to skip this drink in their menu this winter.
What other tips do you have?
- If the drink turns out too strong, pour half the eggnog milk in your glass and the other half with water or regular milk. This way, you dilute the eggnog milk to the right mixture for you.
- Another tip is mixing a tbsp of brown sugar to bring out the flavor of the whole drink.
