Strawberry season is almost here! Learn how to make strawberry milk at home by simply using fresh strawberries and non-dairy milk.

Ingredients
  

Strawberry Puree

  • 1 1/2 cup freshly cut strawberries
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup diced strawberries set aside to top drinks
  • 2 - 4 oz water for puree

Homemade Strawberry Milk

  • 3 oz strawberry puree
  • ice
  • 10 oz milk
  • 3 oz diced strawberries topping
  • 1 fresh strawberry optional: topping for aesthetics

Instructions
 

Strawberry Puree

  • Puree the freshly cut strawberry and water in a blender or food processor.

  • Add the strawberry puree and sugar in a small pot.

  • Heat until it comes to a boil. Stir and gradually turn the heat down until ready.

  • Set aside to cool or place in the refrigerator.

  • Pour the strawberry puree into a glass cup. Then add ice cubes.

  • Carefully pour the milk and top with freshly diced strawberries.

  • Optional: add a strawberry on the mouth of the glass for aesthetics.

Notes

  • The strawberry puree recipe is good for two servings. So that you can make another drink for the next day or to share with a friend or family
