Homemade Iced Brown Sugar Shaken Espresso

Ingredients
  

Brown Sugar Cinnamon Syrup

  • 2 tbsp dark brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp moscavado sugar
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon powder
  • 1/4 cup water

Iced Brown Sugar Shaken Espresso Latte

  • ice cubes
  • 2 shots espresso
  • 0.5 oz brown sugar cinnamon syrup
  • optional: pinch of cinnamon powder
  • your favorite milk

Instructions
 

Brown Sugar Cinnamon Syrup

  • Add all the ingredients in a small pot and let it simmer on a low to medium heat.
  • Stir until the sugar has dissolved and the syrup has slightly thickened.
  • Then gradually turn the heat down until ready. Remove from heat and set aside to cool while you prepare the other ingredients.

Iced Brown Sugar Shaken Espresso Latte

  • Brew a shot of espresso.
  • Take a drink shaker or a mason jar with a lid and add alot of ice cubes, a shot of espresso, 0.5 oz of brown sugar cinnamon syrup, and a pinch of cinnamon powder.
  • Secure the lid and firmly hold the shaker with both hands. Then shake vigorously for 30 - 40 seconds.
  • Take a glass cup and add a few more ice cubes.
  • Add your favorite milk (or oat milk for an at-home Starbucks drink) over the ice cubes. And carefully pour the Brown Sugar Shaken Espresso mixture over the milk. Stir and enjoy!
