Method
- Boil a cup of water and mix the brown sugar until dissolved.
- Heat another small pot and add the muscovado sugar until dissolved.
- Add 1/3 tsp of lemon or lime juice to prevent the sugar from crystallizing.
- Then combine the brown sugar water mixture to the dissolved muscovado sugar.
- Bring to a light boil and stir occasionally.
- Once the syrup thickens, turn off the heat and let it cool before serving.
